The patron of the Botswana Alumni association, Permanant Secretary to the President Ms. Emma Peloetletse officially launched the association on the 1st of December 2018.
With over 14,000 alumni in various industries both locally and internationally and as part of the BAC stakeholder engagement strategy, the Alumni Association has been formed to forge relations with industry, to stimulate and foster a mutually beneficial interaction amongst the alumni, current students and the institution. The rich experiences of BAC Alumni will be instrumental in contributing to the improvement of the Colleges' curriculum, programmes, facilities and customer experience at large. The BAC Alumni Association will provide a forum for the Alumni for career development as well as for exchange of ideas on academic, cultural, economic and social issues. It will give BAC Alumni a platform and an opportunity to network with other graduates who are potential employers, industry leaders and investors.
The Botswana Accountancy Alumni Association will undertake, amongst other activities, CSI activities to uplift the lives of underprivileged, entrepreneurship activities to alleviate graduate and youth unemployment as well as come up with youth based programs to curb unemployment. The association is expected to foster relationship between the institution and industry as well create a link between classroom and industry. With this link, the association is ex-pected to assist in delivering exceptional customer experience and build a customer centric culture, thereby improving the teaching and learning delivery outcomes.
