When addressing the Senior Leadership Team in Gaborone, The Acting Director of Quality Assurance, Ms Lorato Matsheng indicated that one of emerging risk areas in health and safety, particularly post COVID-19 is mental and psychosocial challenges.

She urged attendees to take it upon themselves as the institution’s leaders to ensure that whilst in obvious pursuit of performance and excellence they must take interest in the general well-being of their employees and ignite conversations that will enable psychologically safe working spaces.
