Additional Information

The event aimed at creating a positive impact in the lives of girls and young women by presenting an opportunity for them to interact with a team of intellectuals in the ICT industry and get empowered with digital skills necessary for their future success.

In attendance was ICT industry experts including the BAC Alumni Association Chairperson, Ms Angela Matlapeng; the Founder and Managing Director of the Wire Agency, Ms Tshegofatso Moatswi; a motivational speaker and an engineer by profession, Ms Claire Mosarwa and the Managing Director of Drones of Africa, Ms Marang Mbaakanyi who were part of a panel discussion around the theme of the day.

There were also facilitators from Xavier Africa, Edtech, Drones for Africa and Dare to Dream who conducted workshops for the young ladies to learn valuable skills in the ICT sector and gain confidence in pursuing their passion in technology.
