This platform has allowed for the BAC Student Enterprise Development and Planning Special Project to benchmark, establish digital innovative support structures and development of digital value chains powered by digital innovation. These support structures include the development of the E-Hostel Application system to ease the accommodation application process, an E-Clothing Store for the BAC Merchandise- a marketplace for the student entrepreneurs selling clothing and nail services. A Botswana-based augmented reality traditional game, and an e-office portal enabling students to check availability of spaces in labs and classes.
By participating at this launch, BAC has secured collaborative partnerships with various entities that include, Franc, Warmly, Ipachi Capital, French Embassy Botswana and VivoTech Conferences. All these entities have pledged to support any initiative that BAC will be pioneering, as well as offer services that use their mobile-developed applications to assist our students in saving small amounts of money and use digitally created platforms to enable them to get ready for job interviews upon programme study completion.
